My name is Martin Knight and I am a professional squash player from New Zealand on the PSA world tour.
Competing for New Zealand, I started playing professionally in 2003 and hold a highest world ranking of 38 in January 2012. I was a member of the NZ Under 19 team at the World Juniors in 2002 and since 2005 I have been an active member of the NZ Senior Mens and Commonwealth Games teams.
Originally from Wellington, I now train in Auckland at the National Squash Centre, or at my home club of North Shore. I also spend several months a year in Montreal training at the Atwater club with my coach Glen Wilson.
Career highlights include 3 PSA World tour titles in South Australia, Christchurch and Vancouver as well as a silver medal from the 2010 Commonwealth Games (mixed doubles) and a Bronze Medal from the 2006 World Doubles Championships (Men's doubles).
